The Class of 2027 had no idea what they were walking into this morning!
We broke into four teams and challenged them to complete 1,000-piece puzzles in a head-to-head competition. What started as a fun challenge quickly became an exercise in communication, strategy, teamwork, and execution.
Much like entrepreneurship, the exercise required each team to see the bigger picture, develop a plan, recognize individual strengths, adapt when something wasn’t working or when obstacles were thrown their way, and execute together.
These are the same skills we are intentionally developing throughout the CEO experience. From our Name Badge Business to our upcoming Class Business and eventually individual businesses, learning to communicate, solve problems, adapt, and work toward a common goal is a huge part of the process.
Beyond the competition, this exercise reinforced the importance of teamwork and the understanding that while we may work on different teams, take on different roles, and eventually launch individual businesses, we are still one class working toward something bigger than ourselves.
When one team wins, we all win.
