Today the class toured Pepsi Quincy with Tim and the team, including Greg, who has been with Pepsi for an incredible 51 years.

The class learned about the history and expansion of this family owned franchise, its strong local market share, and just how large and complex the operation is right here in our own community. Seeing the scope of the facility gave students a new appreciation for what it takes to operate at scale while staying rooted locally.

The conversation also focused on innovation and the advantages of being an independent franchise, including the flexibility to adapt quickly and test new ideas. We talked through trends in the beverage industry, trial and error in staying ahead of demand, and the evolution of products like Lotus, energy drinks, and zero sugar options.

Above all, one thing stood out clearly. Their strongest strategy is customer service. No matter how big the operation becomes, relationships and consistency remain the foundation of their success.

It was an impressive look at how legacy, innovation, and service come together to build a business that continues to thrive.
