When alumni return to share the lessons they learned firsthand, current CEO students gain more than advice. They gain inspiration and perspective from people who have already walked the path they are beginning.

Today, the Class of 2027 welcomed back CEO alumni Shannon, Ashley, and Cole for a panel discussion facilitated by Annabelle Schaffnit, a former CEO student who now serves as a board member and mentor.

Our alumni shared their experiences in the program, what has happened with their businesses since graduation, and the biggest lessons they took away from their time in CEO. They also reflected on what they would do differently if they could go back and experience the program again, giving our current students some valuable insight into how to make the most of the opportunities in front of them.

The conversation also went beyond entrepreneurship. Each shared how their time in CEO influenced their college and career paths, the decisions they made after graduation, and how the experiences and relationships they developed continue to influence their lives today.

With the Class of 2027 working through their Class Business and preparing to develop their individual businesses, hearing directly from alumni who have been through the process brings a different perspective to what they’re experiencing right now.

One of my favorite parts of CEO is seeing the impact of the program continue long after students graduate. Watching alumni return, share their experiences, and invest in the next class is something special.

Thank you, Annabelle, Shannon, Ashley, and Cole, for taking the time to share your experiences and invest in the Class of 2027!
