The Class Business doesn’t start with an event. It starts with a room full of ideas and the work of figuring out which one is worth pursuing.

Over the past two days, the Class of 2027 has been working hard through compression and strategic planning as they move toward deciding on this year’s Class Business. There are a lot of great ideas in the room, and the process gives each of them an opportunity to be heard, challenged, developed, and ultimately narrowed into something the entire class can get behind.

Maggie Strong from Strong Consulting has been working alongside the class to facilitate the process and make sure every idea gets a chance to be discussed. It requires communication, compromise, creativity, critical thinking, and a willingness to listen to perspectives other than your own.

This is where the CEO experience really begins to shift. Soon, an idea becomes a business, and the students become responsible for taking it from concept to execution.

More information on their decision is coming soon. You’re not going to want to miss this year’s Class Business!
