Today the class heard from Callie Niederhauser of the Tracy Family Foundation, who shared the story behind the foundation’s origins and the lasting impact it has made across our region. The class learned how the foundation supports organizations and initiatives like Adams County CEO and other CEO programs, helping invest in people, education, and long term community growth.

Callie also led the class through an interactive exercise where students evaluated hypothetical grant requests and had to decide which ones they would fund based on limited information. It was a fun and challenging way to experience the real decisions foundations face when allocating resources responsibly.

The conversation offered valuable insight into philanthropy, stewardship, and the responsibility that comes with investing in others.
