Today the class visited The 501 and heard from Bruce Guthrie about the wide range of work the Quincy Area Chamber of Commerce does to support our local business community. Bruce shared how the chamber builds connections, develops leaders, and helps drive economic growth throughout the region.
He also spoke about his history working in professional sports and how those experiences shaped his approach to leadership, teamwork, and community engagement. Bruce’s deep love for this area came through in everything he shared.
The timing of this visit could not have been better. Tomorrow the class will participate in the Business Before Hours event at The Pour Haus, where they will share their class business and connect with chamber members and community leaders.
It was a meaningful look at how strong networks and community partnerships open doors for entrepreneurs at every stage.
