If you were mayor, what would you change about Quincy?

That’s exactly the question Mayor Linda Moore asked our class today during our visit to City Hall and the City Council Chambers. She shared her journey into public service, her goals for the city, and what it really takes to lead a community.

The class had plenty of ideas — from new retailers and restaurants to ways to make Quincy even more connected and welcoming. And to wrap it all up, a few students even took a seat behind the mayor’s desk.

Maybe one day, one of them will be sitting there for real.
