Today we toured GREDF (Great River Economic Development Foundation) and heard from Kyle Moore about his path in public service and leadership. He shared how GREDF is helping entrepreneurs across Adams County start, grow, and thrive.

Kyle also introduced several new programs designed to strengthen both business and community development:

The Business Concierge Program offers one-on-one support for entrepreneurs who want to start or expand their businesses. It provides help with business planning, permits, market research, and connecting to key community resources.

The GROW Program (Growing Residential Opportunities County-Wide) focuses on addressing housing needs by providing financial incentives for developing new or renovated residential spaces.

And the Quincy’s Calling Recruitment Program encourages residents to help bring new talent to the area by connecting potential employees and families to opportunities right here at home.

What stood out most to the class was how GREDF’s work directly supports both entrepreneurs and the community at large. GREDF isn’t just talking about growth—they’re creating real tools to make it happen.
